The Pond Clinic & Aquatopia Water Garden Conservatory

The Pond Clinic is Ottawa’s Premiere Water Garden Centre, and one of Karma’s longest standing clients. When we first met owners Catherine Neville and Nicholas Bott, The Pond Clinic already had an established brand and logo. The Karma team was tasked with establishing that well-respected brand online!
Karma created a brand new SEO Word Press© Website for elegance and ease of updating. The Pond Clinic now ranks at the top of Google for all water garden industry search terms! Karma Creative Solutions created an ongoing Social Media Marketing (SMM) plan to keep pond owners engaged as part of a larger community, and to help spread the word about the joys of water gardening! The Social Media Plan includes Facebook and Twitter updates, along with YouTube Account maintenance.

Karma Creative Solutions are also responsible for the creation of Video Releases on PondTV, the Pond Clinic’s customized YouTube Channel. These video releases are comprised of educational clips, entertaining videos or personal documentaries about the water garden lifestyle.

With over 1500 subscribers, and over 257,000 views, The Pond Clinic is now positioned online as one of THE top experts in the water garden industry – worldwide!

The Ottawa Water Garden Festival

Karma Creative Solutions has planned and produced The Ottawa Water Garden Festival for over half a decade! This annual event hosted by The Pond Clinic has two parts. The first part is a self-guided Pond Tour across Ottawa, featuring different ponds, fountains, streams and waterfalls. The second part is a pond side reception, to meet the makers of these incredible gardens, and to enjoy the water garden lifestyle for yourself.

Tickets, registration and information are all available on the Karma designed and built website, The beautiful Pond Tour guide book details each stop on the tour and provides valuable information about pond options and innovations like the new living wall. The 2012 event won the Landscape Ontario Award of Excellence for Outstanding Promotional Event, and we continued this stellar reputation into the 2014 and 2016 events.

Karma employs both traditional and web-based media outreach to create a buzz about this event, garnering spots on Television, Radio and Print all across Ottawa.


Karma Creative Solutions was very pleased to be an integral team member in the start-up of Aquatopia Water Garden Conservatory. From the owners of The Pond Clinic came the region’s very first, and only, water garden conservatory. This is brand new establishment needed everything from a logo, to a website, to a launch event!

Our first step with Aquatopia Water Garden Conservatory was to establish a solid brand. This meant working from the logo up! Using a colour palette inspired by Aquatopia itself Karma Creative Solutions created a gorgeous and memorable logo to be used across all marketing platforms. That included storefront signage and some gorgeous touches to the interior design!

We then followed up the Aquatopia Brand with the creation of a stunning website for Ottawa’s newest event venue,, featuring numerous photo galleries and an exhaustive listing of services. Karma carries the pastel, tropical theme through the website, facebook advertising, print material, signage and showcase videos.

Karma was also delighted to produce the soil turning event at Aquatopia Water Garden Conservatory. We were pleased to arrange for Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson to attend the event, along with several prominent media, resulting in fantastic coverage from trusted media outlets, including the Ottawa Business Journal.

The final goal was to establish Aquatopia’s Social Presence, through Facebook, Instagram , YouTube and Twitter. Creating buzz around the largest indoor water garden in eastern ontario included an extensive Facebook & Google AdWords Ad Campaign with stunning Karma photography & videos, reaching over 80,000 qualified customers.

The end result? A fully booked events calendar, and a very busy conservatory!
